The Jefferson Physicians’ Foundation (JPF) is the 501 (c) (3) charitable and educational arm of the Jefferson Parish Medical Society formed in early 2005 and dedicated to the empowerment of the Jefferson Parish community through health education programs, charitable outreach, and informative activities for physicians and patients. In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the JPF will focus attention on providing tools to assist the physician community in rebuilding their practices to meet the needs of their patients. The JPF can receive tax-deductible donations of money and services to further these purposes.
