ARE YOU HAPPY
WITH THE HEALTH REFORMS PROPOSED BY CONGRESS?If your answer is YES, you can stop reading now.
If your answer is NO, then read on to see how you can influence the debate.
The JPMS leadership and physician members participated in the Health Reform Town Hall Meetings held this summer during the Congressional recess. There is little doubt that physicians and patients seem to agree that reform of our nation’s health care system is needed. Now is the time to contact our Louisiana members of Congress with your concerns and solutions for patient centered, physician driven health care reform.
Visit the Louisiana State Medical Society website (www.lsms.org) for their regular Friday updates. You will find key points of concern and important resources on the health reform proposals.
Read the Letter Jefferson Parish Medical Society sent to members of Congress from our area expressing our concerns. Call JPMS (504-455-8282) for additional information or a copy of a side-by-side comparison of the major health care reform proposals.
