Plan for electronic health records ready
8.3.2010 La. has $10 million to broaden their
use State officials and Louisiana health care experts have crafted the
state's initial plan for using a $10 million grant to expand the use of
electronic health records in the state. The Louisiana Health Care Quality Forum,
the not-for-profit entity designated by Gov. Bobby Jindal's administration to
handle the state's planning process, is soliciting public comment on its draft
before submitting it for approval by the U.S. Department of Health and Human
